DLB Computer Services provides custom PCs, repairs, upgrades, home IT and networking services in Perth, Western Australia. In this policy, "DLB", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the DLB Computer Services business identified on your quote or invoice.

- build status, photographs, component models, serial numbers, test results and warranty records

Card payments are handled by the payment provider shown at checkout, such as Square. DLB Computer Services does not receive or store your complete card number or card security code.

We collect information directly from you through our website, LiveBuild forms, email, phone, quotes, payments and in-person dealings. We may also receive information from payment providers, couriers, suppliers or a person authorised to act for you.

- prepare quotes and supply, configure, test, deliver and support products and services
- operate LiveBuild tracking and preserve your build and warranty history
- process and reconcile payments, prevent fraud and keep business records
- send service, build-status, warranty and support communications

- meet legal, tax, accounting and consumer-law obligations.
We will seek consent where required before sending optional marketing. You can unsubscribe from marketing without affecting essential order or service messages.
5. When we disclose information
We may disclose relevant information to:
- component suppliers, repair partners and couriers needed to fulfil your order
- payment processors, email providers, hosting, security and IT service providers
- accountants, insurers, professional advisers and regulators
- law enforcement or other parties where required or authorised by law.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Overseas processing
Our primary customer and build records are stored on systems controlled by DLB Computer Services in Australia. Some providers, including payment, email and website security providers, may process or store information outside Australia, including in the United States and other countries where those providers operate. We select providers appropriate to the service and limit the information shared to what is reasonably needed.
7. Security and retention
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, protected administration tools and secure connections where available. No internet service is completely risk-free. We retain records for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including ongoing LiveBuild history, warranty, support, tax and legal requirements. When information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
8. Access and correction
You may ask to access or correct personal information we hold about you. Contact us using the details on your quote, invoice or DLB Computer Services correspondence. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. If we cannot provide access or make a requested correction, we will explain why where required.
9. Privacy questions and complaints
Contact DLB Computer Services using the details on your quote, invoice or correspondence and describe your concern. We will acknowledge and investigate privacy complaints and aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied and the Privacy Act applies, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
